What is a RSS Feed?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. An RSS feed is a format that is used to display headlines, news or even full text of a website when updates to that site have been made. It makes keeping up with websites a lot more automated as you receive notification when sites have updated and you don’t have to even visit the site. To view RSS feeds you need a feed viewer which checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content and performs the updates and displays the information.

What is a Pod Cast?

A podcast is a series of digital-media files which are distributed over the Internet using feeds for playback on portable media players and computers. These can be registered for and sent to you via these feeds when new programs are available much like the RSS feeds.
