How to create an RSS feed.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. An RSS feed is a format that is used to display headlines, news or even full text of a website when updates to that site have been made. An RSS feed is stored as an XML file on a server. You then have an RSS reader of some kind look to this file for updates. Any updates that are in this XML file can be subsequently displayed in the reader. There are readers already built into Internet explorer and outlook, but you could alternatively download an aggregator.
So how do we make a simple RSS feed?
You can make a feed simply by making an file and saving it as .xml. The file needs to contain the following:

RSS Feed now open!

We now can provide our own rss feeds. Excellent

First Item Title

Here you write what you want it say

You can alter the items in green to what you want to say. By adding additional tags

tags and filling the
,

inside it you can build up your feed. Each item will be displayed as a new item in the RSS feed . If writing it like above doesn’t take your fancy there are various free programs that will write the XML file for you. All you have to do is enter the information into boxes. A couple of such program are called ListGarden RSS Feed Generator or Richosoft RSS feeder. Once you have an XML file you can create a shortcut to it from a RSS button on your website and then the user can choose to subscribe. When you add items to the XML file (feed) any subscribed users aggregators will automatically update.
